JobHub ("JobHub," "we," "our," or "us") is a business management and job costing platform for home service contractors, operated by JobHub Co. Our website is jobhubco.com and our application is available at jobhubco.com. You can reach us at support@jobhubco.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you give us directly

• Name, email address, company name, and other details you provide when joining our waitlist or creating an account
• Business information such as your trade type, team size, and state
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we never store your raw card details)
• Job data, employee information, and other business records you enter into JobHub
• Communications you send us, including support requests and feedback

Information we collect automatically

• Log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps
• Device information such as hardware model and operating system
• Usage data about how you interact with the app (features used, actions taken)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)

Information from third parties

• Data from QuickBooks Online when you connect your account, used solely to provide the sync features you've requested
• Data from payroll providers (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll) when you connect those integrations

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the JobHub platform
• Process transactions and send related information including confirmations and invoices
• Send waitlist updates, onboarding communications, and product announcements (you can opt out at any time)
• Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests
• Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve JobHub
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate JobHub, including Stripe (payments), and hosting providers. These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
• Integrations you authorize: When you connect QuickBooks, a payroll provider, or another integration, we share the data necessary to power that connection.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• Business transfers: If JobHub is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before this occurs.
• With your consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.

6. Data security

We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard measures including AES-256 encryption for stored tokens, HTTPS for all data in transit, and access controls that limit who within our team can access your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our service. These include:

• Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (session management, authentication)
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site (e.g., Google Analytics)

JobHub is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Our service may contain links to third-party websites (such as QuickBooks, Stripe, or payroll providers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of JobHub after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

12. We will never sell your data

This is not a legal technicality or a clause buried in fine print — it is a founding commitment of JobHub. We will never sell, rent, license, or otherwise transfer your personal information or your business data to any third party for commercial purposes. Ever.

Your data belongs to you. We access it only to provide the service you've paid for, and for no other reason. This applies to all JobHub customers regardless of where they are located.

California residents (CCPA): JobHub does not sell or share personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You have the right to know what data we hold, request its deletion, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of any sale — though no sale will ever occur. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@jobhubco.com and we will respond within 30 days.
